SUNBOND SS
Characteristics
Sun Bond SS is a heavy coated rutile type all position electrode for major structural work where radiographic quality at high welding speed is desired. Sun Bond SS Produces smooth, well - rippled beads, medium penetration and little spatter. The heavy slag comes off by itself, shining beads of excellent profile. pan>
Sun Bond SS is applied for welding of storage tanks, locomotive fire boxes, railway coach panels, automobile bodies, scooter frames, boilers and wherever strength combined with streamlined finish is necessary. Best suited for radiographic quality welds and bridging wide root gaps.
Weld Metal Chemistry : (Typical)
C:0.10 Mn:0.60 Si:0.30 S:0.03 P:0.03
Welding Current Range :
Diameter : 2.5 3.15 4 5 6.3
Ampere : 60-90 100-140 140-190 190-250 250-330
